"Not having an engagement shoot is one of our only regrets regarding our wedding. I was busy moving to where my then fiance lived, we were both busy planning the wedding, and it just didn’t feel like something we needed. I couldn’t have been more wrong!" If you don't want to have my regrets, is not to late to get ready for that Special Day.
So here it is a photo shoot from a real engagement party. They choose Valentine's as it has beautiful red sexy colors and lots of passion in it. But this can be done in any day of the year.
Nothing says Valentine’s Day like champagne and chocolates! While I love the bright, fun side of Valentine’s Day that reminds me of opening up homemade cards and eating candy in elementary school I am also madly in love with the dark, romantic side of Valentine’s Day.
Homemade chocolate truffles for this romantic Valentine’s Day shoot. Amazing truffles: a dark chocolate truffle infused with earl grey tea, a red-hot chocolate truffle infused with crushed red pepper and topped with chili pepper, and finally a white chocolate truffle infused with rose champagne and topped with an edible gold leaf. Some of recipies were taken from internet (the ones that can be made easily :).
For the decor, we kept it very dark and classic, with lots of dark reds, blacks, and pops of gold throughout the table setting. The candles kept the setting looking warm and inviting. We borrowed some antique frames a local shop to use as a backdrop to the entire setting.
Everything was prepared under one week and with a small budget. We done it in a local park with a couple of friends. So a little bit of effort, but the memories will be for entire life.
